Coming into our true selves is a rite of passage. Sarani is a performance that explores the process of unravelling previous notions of self through an introspective journey. Through a multi-sensory, symbolic ritual, the performance invites the audience into the intimacy of this isolating journey.
The project was developed in London as a part of the residency and performance programme, Haramacy, which brings together storytelling and multimedia to celebrate outsider narratives.
