Waves is a short film capturing the emotional turmoil of the pandemic era, exploring themes of confinement, migration, and the search for comfort. It delves into the struggle to reflect on the raw experiences of a world in turmoil, concluding with a message of hope and the importance of taking a moment to breathe amidst chaos.
In 2020, Covid-19 had a considerable impact on the Arts and in turn our programmes. We had to step back and consider how creating work may be possible. In doing so, we were able to reconfigure our programmes to include both online and in-person activities; aimed at exploring multi arts collaboration through film while navigating a new normal. This is a short film created by our London artists in residence in 2020.
